![]() You are the most patient person on the planet. So incredibly proud of you, and love you man. parking lot, we figured out how to work together. From almost throwing down in the Walmart Inc. Second, a special shoutout to my best friend and brother Jeremy Vandehey. ![]() Fortescue, thank you for believing in our vision and weathering the storms with us. But I do want to share a couple of Disco kudos, and close with one story.įirst, our team. There are so many people that helped us along this journey, so many stories, that it would be impossible to tell them all. In the spirit of recognition, the emotion that I'm feeling most today is gratitude. We couldn't be more excited to join Didier Elzinga, Rod Hamilton, Douglas English and an entire team of wonderful Campers to help our customers bring their culture online and into the digital spaces where work happens. After nearly 7 years, the company that I founded with my brothers Jeremy and Joseph, Disco, is being acquired by Culture Amp, the industry leader in employee experience. Today is a pretty big day filled with a wide range of emotions. I'm excited to share more about what this partnership means for you all in the months to come. An extra special thanks to our customers who took a chance on us. And the people at Culture Amp that helped make this partnership a reality: Daniel, Michael, Jacqueline, Peter, Jamie, Sarah, Adin and more. Our alumni: Juno, Rafael, Adam, Veronica, Lacy, Andreas, and more. Our investors: Phil, Manolo, Niko, Jason, Preetha, Manu, Robert, Marvin, & Marc. I'm so proud of what our small team ( Joseph, Jorge, Kacey, Malia) were able to accomplish, and I'm grateful to everyone that supported us. I think that is the one mantra that kept Disco going through the years. I always joked that growing up you acted like if you stopped moving you'd die. The last 6 years have been the most challenging and fulfilling of my life, and we wouldn't have gotten here without you. I'd also like to thank my wife Molly for always supporting and believing in me. More days than not, you were the person that kept the Disco ball spinning. I'd like to thank everyone tagged in Justin's post.Especially Justin. Together we're going to build the best culture suite the world has ever seen. Disco has been profitable and growing for a few years, and this partnership is how we take our vision to the next level. Our companies are so aligned, from vision to values, and I've been inspired by Culture Amp's leadership in this space and their ability to change the world at scale. We've been getting to know Didier, Rod, & Douglas for several years, and I often thought that if I had to pick a new name for Disco I'd choose Culture Amp. For those that didn't see the news today, Disco was acquired by Culture Amp!
